Initially I had booked for 1 night coz it looked so good on paper that it sounded too good to be true. Lo and behold I was transported to a perfect place I felt like I was in a private island but I was still in the city. I had to check out because it was fully booked for me to extent, I stayed at Teratai villa (another Ini Vie masterpiece) while waiting for availability again at Canggu Cabana as soon as there was an opening I went back for my final night in Bali and Giri sure made it worth it for me. Giri thank you for the finishing touches, the floating breakfast and the flower bath and the little gift ❤️. I will stay in this accommodation for sure in the near future. All my love, Wendy.”

      Welcome felt very personal and set us up for a lovely weekend (thanks to Patrick). Food in Mizumi was delicious.

      Two bed apartment disappointing for the cost. It was very dark and every time we made a slice of toast the smoke alarm went off. Simple things that I would have expected for that money were not in place - hooks on the back of doors for towels, shower soap holder (just left on the shower thermostat). For such a strong welcome, it all felt like a real let down. Also one of her party had robe with phone etc removed from the poolside by housekeeping. It was in error but we had a very stressful 10 mins before it was located and although the hotel apologised, I would have expected a small gesture from the hotel such as a drink but there was nothing. Finally, we had to pay 12£ per night for parking for booking through a 3rd party - we wouldn’t have found the hotel if it hadn’t been for the 3rd party so it was a kick in the teeth to have to pay for this. Thankfully only one of us had driven - if we had all taken a car that would have been another £72 to park in a private car park.

      We asked for a early morning wake up call at the reception when we checked in but we did not get this call it was good one of us woke up early or we could have missed our check in at the airport before our flight.

      It was a bit further from the coach drop off point than we gad thought. Not a big issue but a bit more information on walking time would have been appreciated.

      The property was very convenient to the city centre

      The property was adequate but needed to be cleaner- ie behind the beds . There was not enough cutlery for 3 people -only 1 desert spoon.. I feel that the staff clening and organising the property should check everything is in working order. Ie the TV remote clearly needs new batteries, the blinds in the main room were broken on arrival. and this was reported . . I was disappointed that there was not a representative to meet me as this was stated in the original correspondence. The problems encountered on arrival , access and heating issues could have been solved immediately rather than through one telephone call and numerous text messages.
