The apartment was very spacious, light and decorated in modern style, we loved the comfy sofa and big tv! It was clean and well kitted out, we ordered a take away first night so we could spend an evening there! Had trouble finding the cutlery drawer but emailed the landlord who responded immediately (drawer was ‘hidden’ at top of saucepan drawer) The location was perfect for getting to train station and exploring Leeds, literally a few minutes walk. We would definitely recommend it!

Only one small thing - no corkscrew! But we ran back to Laithwaites up the road where the lovely assistant opened the wine for us! Also beware when putting rubbish out in the bin store - if the store door shuts behind you, it locks and the only way out is back out into the street and in through the front door again!

Dercent breakfast included which offered multiple choices so no complaints. Good outdoor facilities i,e, swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and sunbathing beds. None of which we used. Friendly staff.

Our room was diasappointing. Access was awkward through a small entrance passege. This was due to the siting of the shower/toilet room. The shower flow was weak and the handbasin was badly sited alongside the bed making it impossible to access properly due to the location of the bedside cabinet. The heating was kept running so the room was warm and the beds were comfy.

No shower over the bath, just a hand held shower. No facilities for making tea, only a coffee machine. Had to go to the pantry, along the corridor, to make tea. Pantry poorly stocked. (Look at the pantry in No.1 Guest House in York!) Hand basin had hot water intermittently. Doors to bathroom had a gap between them.

the whole place... nothing was as advertised. the photos that were advertised of the whole place was nothing like the place we stayed in. the staff that we saw seemed like they didnt have a clue. very unproffesional. we booked to stay in room 9 ended up in number 7. but then was taken to somebody elses room before being shown ours. the tv didnt work. the lock on the toilet door needed fixed. everything was low budget and not what we paid for. no hair dyer or toiletries as it was mentioned. not an apartment as advertised more of a one room bed sit. a budget room over looking a construction site.
