Positive section of review
Great location and lovely apartment. It felt like I was the first person to stay in it. It was very beautifully decorated but there were some teething problems - the coffee table was broken, the hoover broke during my stay and was not replaced, the curtain hooks in the front room broke, and there was no cupboard space in the bedroom.

The quality of some of the furniture and fixings were poor - things seemed to break very easily.

Great location, close to shops, transport links and many attractions. Lots of great views and parks close by. House was spacious and being a bungalow we didn't have to worry about our toddler playing around on any stairs.

Would have been nice to have a little welcome sheet that explained how to use the TV and adjust the heating etc. as it took far longer than we would like to admit to work it out. Also if there were 4 adults staying at the property they would struggle with bowls and mugs, as there were only 3 bowls and 2 regular sized mugs that we could find.

The lounge - it rained one day but we were able to make ourselves comfortable in there with puzzle-books etc. Acceptable choice of dishes for evening meal. Well-stocked bar. Good breakfast.

The room was very small. The bathroom also. Like so many hotels we visit, there's rarely enough shelf space for toiletries. This is a major, major criticism. The shower was really too small, with little room to move around AND absolutely nowhere to put one's toiletries. The web-site showed photos of bigger rooms with views across the landscape. Ours was attic-like with a restricted view of a cornfield!!

I thought the apartment was excellent. The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. The view from the apartment was beautiful. It is easily one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.
