Bryn and Anne are superb hosts. This is the second time I've stopped at bluebells, and it's, in my opinion, the best B&B in Barmouth. The whole house is immaculate and the furniture is beautiful! Breakfast is a real treat, and nothing is too much trouble, I'm gluten intolerant, and they had no problem in catering for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend bluebells!

The hotel seemed well ran with polite staff, clean and located in a ideal position. Stayed in a very small single room...must admit it needed updating but it was adequate...clean, hot water, lots of tea and coffee, serviced daily and a reasonably comfy bed...cannot fault the breakfast, lots of choice, everything cooked well and hot..very nice..

Great room, very comfortable. The only down side was it was very noisey until late from the pubs/restaurants opposite the hotel. The breakfast selection was one of the best we have experienced. My husband was thrilled to be able to have crumpets. I wish we had more time there so we could have checked out the spa.

The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly, which makes a huge difference to your stay, and the location was perfect, a few mins walk from the town centre and loads of cafes/restaurants, and not too far from Richmond Park.

Not much at all. If I had to mention something, I would say that we had some noisy guests above our room that were quite heavy footed and were walking around late at night/very early in the morning, which woke us both up! Nothing the hotel can control but was quite annoying at points!

Only a short walk into the City Centre and to the Roodee. Close to the station as well. Plenty of on-street parking. Staff were great. We dropped our bags before the room was ready but we were given a room key and went off to the races. Spotlessly clean.

It was adequate for a nights stay. It was generally quiet but please see comment below. Otherwise, the owner was very polite and accommodating, the room small but adequate for one night’s stay.

There was some shuffling around of furniture or something downstairs at around 0430 which went on for ages and was highly annoying. As a light sleeper it meant I didn’t get a good nights much needed sleep. I assume this was not a guest as it sounded like organised chaos.

No coffee bean to make a coffee no yoghurt and only two apples and oranges in a bowl cooked breakfast was good. The rooms are nice and big and clean and hotel in nice place and quiet.

Then room was quite tawdry, in dire need of updating, decorating and not particularly clean. The bathroom was grim. It needs fully updating. The pipework round the sink was awful, the shower head was too heavy for the rail. The bathromm floor did not appear to have been cleaned. We only stayed 1 night so it was OK for us. I appreciate the hotel was very old but it really needs some care and attention.
