The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Bed was comfortable and a fan was included in the room which was a great touch as it was fairly warm during my visit. Check in was easy and the host was friendly good location for the beach and the Bierhaus if you like you're German beers. Whilst not for me, there were a significant amount of LGBT bar's and clubs within a couple of streets of the guesthouse and close to local bus services to get to and from the station and other areas of the city. very little noise from other guests, i heard a door close once or twice whilst i was there but that's it which is nice and getting into the property after closing was easier as it was key entry and not card.

Room was good, a tad on the small side and the shower was in an awkward place getting into the bathroom but this didnt ruin my stay

Ease of check-in and check-out. Bedroom was a good size. They have a decent Italian restaurant. I think it's a Gino daCampo place. Food was excellent.

The restaurant was good but staffed by just one person who seemed to be tyhe jack of all trades as she checked us out the next day!

Our "twin" room turned out to be a room for disabled! The wet room type shower and everything set low for wheelchair users was strange for us able bodied couple. We decided not to complain as we only had one night there.

They did give me a free bottle of Budweiser whilst I was waiting to be told that I could not stay here due to a double booking.

I booked here on booking.com but on arrival the lady behind the bar looked very confused as she checked the paper booking system they use. She then went on to speak to a colleague and asked me to wait until the Manager was ready to speak to me. Eventually after a number of staff mulling around, the manager came and told me to speak to booking.com as it was their fault that the booking had not come through to the venue. Seemed odd to me and there were other people in the pub who had the same problem so I wasn't alone. It's a shame as I stayed a few years ago and it was great but the new ownership seems chaotic and shambolic. No responsibility taken from management, no assistance offered, just basically you can't stay here.
