Excellent service from check-in to check-out. Outstanding facilities, especially the gym, pool and spa area. Most of the time you don't notice the housekeeping and return to a shiny room. Beautiful venue and a historical location in a perfect location which made our stay unique. The pool area and its staff are excellent, cater you and boost your start of the day.

I'm being picky, but given it's a Raffles (right after Aman), they should strive for excellence. Although the staff was aware of it, no earplugs were provided (and considering other people complained, the cynicism of your staff wasn't welcomed). The superior room on the 5th floor had a new view, and sleep was disrupted by Big Ben. There are some flaws in the room structure, hair dryer plug is not available next to a mirror, wardrobe hangers don't fit long clothes and in general having a full body mirror can take place only when your partner is off bathroom. In addition, a window cleaner surprised us in one of the mornings without any notice. There was a lack of transparency regarding deposit charges, which kept topping up and wasn't released a week after checkout (or until this very day), or random charges which were up to 50% of the room rate for a 4-night stay. The staff presents the spy bar as a unique space for guests, while it's not (the bartender was laughing about it), and security personnel don't know the guests and chase them in the hotel. There was an inconsistent experience in the spa; my partner's treatment was 20 minutes longer than mine and included various aspects not included in mine, despite booking the same treatment. Bottom line: book it, and I'm sure they'll keep improving.

Friendly staff, good facilities and location good for various good days out. Very accommodating when we asked why the menu sheet was not on the table one of the days, as my husband had decided to have smoked salmon on our last day.

Someone turned up to check a radiator as first of our group arrived - could have done that earlier. It unnerved her to have a stranger walking around the house. Electric alarm clock went off in the middle of the night! No salt in the salt pot.

Super central position, comfortable and clean room. Friendly staff. Was able to leave my luggage for a bit after checking out which is always a nice gesture from a hotel. Great value for its price in my view!

The room is too small, full of unnecessary furniture. No telephone in room to contact hotel staff for anything urgent you need. No fridge in the room as all other 3 star hotels do have. With all these, it was just uncomfortable, however, the location is amazing. It is clean. But no facilities available in the toilet to clean.
