This was my first time at the Springfield, Kevin the owner was very helpful with advice on parking and the general area. All the doors have a keypad, the room was quite small, but the bed, en suite were spotless. I stayed for 3 nights and will return again on my next visit to Belfast. Thank you Kevin.

Good location - sea & beach 1 min away - town a nice walk away. Costcutter nearby for essentials. Beautiful & interesting decor- A cared for home. Quiet building - an interesting, bit gothicy old hotel building with street free parking

Great location very close to Haymarket station and central Edinburgh. Very comfortable bunk beds with light, charging point and safe locker. Excellent kitchen facilities and bar. Complementary foods in kitchen.

We particularly liked the location of the flat - opposite the cricket ground which was the major part of our visit The flat was very well equipped and a relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day.

Unfortunately we had problems with the t.v. and although we were able to telephone for help with this and arrangements were put in place for someone to call round and fix the problem, the situation didnot change. There was no message left on what we needed to do. We were only able to watch the t.v. via the i player. Generally we thought that some of the instructions might be a little more comprehensive.

The room was cosy and comfortable. The amenities in the room and the shower exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was average and the service was good as well.

The restaurant could have been cleaner. But this might be due to the pub night that went on until quite late, I suppose.

The room was tired and quite dirty. Cups dirty. Sink badly chipped. No mini bar. The service was bizarre. People would come and tell us what they were going to do but then took ages to do it. We were given a different menu to each other twice - it was only when we came to order that it became clear we didn't have the same one.
