Positive section of review
The location was stunning, easy to find and with off-road parking. Just a short drive from the Cairnryan ferry port. The host, Brendan, was welcoming (and made us a cup of tea on arrival). Breakfast was freshly made to order and delicious. The room was clean, fresh and bright. Great choice of teas and coffee with biscuit accompaniment. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

What a fabulous hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. Hotel was in a good location with easy access into central Edinburgh. Breakfast was nice with a few options available. Cleaner came every day to empty bins. Would definitely recommend.

Totally my own fault but there are 3 floors to this hotel and no lift. My husband has mobility issues and, as our luck goes, we ended up on the top floor. Didn't think to request a ground floor room, but lesson learnt.

A very clean and well maintained property. Clare was a excellent host who also provided useful local knowledge and delicious breakfast. We recommend Marmalades and No.10 restaurants but advance booking essential.

Room 4 is the smallest of the rooms and has limited clothes hanging space.

I had asked for a lower floor as my wife is claustrophobic, excellent our room was on the ground floor. The room was a very good size and the staff we very helpful and friendly even at four thirty in the morning.

We seamed to have to wait a long time between ordering our evening meal and it arriving at our table.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, amazing sea view, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely, me and my daughter had a fantastic stay and would visit again

We had dinner on the first evening as most of the restaurants in the are don't open until later in week. The room was spacious as was the bathroom with a nice view over the gardens.

The location of the room above the kitchen and the bed . We didn’t sleep because of the heat from the kitchen and the sound of the extractor fan outside of the kitchen.
