The Plockton Inn is a delightful property which has been refurbished to a high standard, offering spacious bedrooms and well laid out en-suites. The property is situated in a great location. The staff are so helpful and friendly, helped make our stay that bit more enjoyable. We had our we dog with us and she was provided with treats and a wee welcome pack, very thoughtful. Will definitely be revisiting.

Location is great. Feels rural but is close to amenities. Exterior looks fresh and well maintained as do the reception, bar and restaurant areas. Excellent quality food both at dinner and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.

The room looked a bit tired - some peeling paint, knocks/marks on the walls, grouting between tiles in bathroom needs refreshing. Very tarnished metal bin in bathroom, for which foot pedal didn’t work. Awkward to use tap on sink. A few small cobwebs on ceiling above beds. Pillows are thin and a bit lumpy. TV reception not great, kept pixelating and sound affected.

The managers are exceptionally friendly and helpful , our suite was very comfortable and quiet, and we had a lovely breakfast. The hotel is a short drive from the ferry to Ireland.

Access to apartment was difficult with luggage. Alleyway to stairs was damp and smelled of urine. Very off putting. Homeless people sleeping in doorways next door was not pleasant. Made us feel uncomfortable. Blue door to access from Street was not inviting.

There was karaoke from 7 pm until 12 midnight. Very loud we could not sleep. The hotel/ pub needs a good clean and needs updating. We booked for breakfast, and that got cancelled. Money returned. But 😡 we were disappointed we were booked in until 11 am. we had to leave at 9 am because breakfast got cancelled.
