If you're looking for peace, quiet and tranquility, you'll find it by the bucketful. A very well presented ground floor apartment, tastefully decorated, bright and airy plenty of room outside all to yourself and your doggy(s), cracking views across the bay, nice walks to be had around the village. Michelle the owner greeted us there. and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay (3 nights) Of all the places we've stated, this tops the list for us and we'll be back for a longer stay.

For the price we paid, we were expecting a bit better furniture in the room. The towel rail in the very nice bathroom wasnt warm. But the staff were extremely helpful and accommodated our needs when my husband fell ill. An ambuance was called immediately and I was supported kindly. The extra time we needed to stay was very well negotiated.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location can't be beat. You are right in the middle of the action in Bath, with easy access to the theatre, shopping, food, tourist attractions, and even a Sainsbury's.

Just know that the room is SUPER small. This is not a good hotel for you if you like to relax in your room for a bit, in between your adventures. If you're just going to be in the room for sleeping, then go for it! Also, the shower is see-through into the rest of the room. So...that's fine for couples. Not so fine if you're modest at all with your companion(s)!

Superb location! The staff were great, making it very relaxed and friendly, particularly Rich. Food was very good - breakfast was freshly cooked to order, our evening meal was excellent.

Beautiful location and owners were so very helpful when we arrived late with no provisions. We were walking the Great Stones Way and this was a minor detour for a lovely relaxed stay.

I was aware that it was a windowless room when I booked and thought that would be satisfactory for what I needed, but it was too warm and poorly ventilated. I was invited to inform them on arrival if I had any issues with the temperature, so I did ask for it to be cooler after the first restless night, however it made little difference. By the third night the room was beginning to smell of me. Control of the lighting was also poor. The only way to extinguish the light was to remove the card key from its slot by the door and cut the power (fortunately not affecting the sockets for phone charging). The LED on the emergency light above the door was still quite bright and some people would struggle to sleep with that much light.
