Location and facilities on site. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the lodges and having a self-catering option was ideal with a young family, while still being able to use the facilities of the whole resort. Accommodation was clean and well equipped.

Checkin was late at 5pm while checkout was early at 10am. Having to pay an additional charge for a high chair in the lodge.

The owners were brilliantly welcoming and attentive. Enjoyed a few drinks in the bar in the evening and our 9yr old son was more than happy with there being a pool table. Will definitely stay again.

Decor is a bit dated, but to fair it is Blackpool. It is almost a step back in time and tradition. So this didn’t hinder our stay at all.

Amazing value. Was clean and comfortable, lovely and quiet so had a great sleep both nights I was there. Novel change for a B&B to have equipment to clean my much used coffee cup too!

There were snagging that had not be addressed. Mainly electrical problems. Bad electrician I believe. First room we were given very cold no heating and bear wires hanging out of bathroom towel rail. We were given another room which also didn’t have working heating she came to do heating but it only blew out cold air there was a small radiator which worked fine. The bed side lights flashed continually so we could not use. BATHROOM TOWEL RAIL NOT WORKING. No maid service for next day so towels not changed and still wet from no towel rail had to ask for clean towels. Only 2 bath towels no hand towels. Ask for hand towels we were left 2 floor towels for shower. No telephone to phone reception had to use Mobil and phone hotel. Very little staff only 3 seen. They were new. One just started she tried but made things up as she went along. The other just a month. Didn’t get chance to ask the other because she was like a busy bee around the place. Really nice staff really tied their best but very under trained. I really felt for them. They had just be thrown in the deep end and couldn’t swim. Saying all that I would give them another try cos I believe there were all teething problems.

Maybe the hotel could make sure they are named on the on the Heathrow hotel hoppa list.... I had to used Google maps to work out where to get off at nearby hotel and walk the last bit. And also explain that the 111 bus only costs £1.75 from the Heathrow bus terminal, whereas hotel hoppa cost £6. As a customer who hadn't stayed over at Heathrow it was hard to find you. The info could be put on booking.com and Expedia listings.
