Chose Exeter and this hotel as a stop over for our Journey to St Ives. Location was very easy to get to from the M5. Parking was private and spacious. We arrived very early and the hotel staff allowed us to park and took our bags and moved them to our room whilst we explored and enjoyed Exeter. Room was really nice and the bed was comfortable. Showers were good too. The building is older and full of character which is what we prefer. Breakfast for really enjoyable. Location was perfect and easy to drive across the city to the A30 the next day sign posted Oakhampton.

Absolutely stunning Just incredible We were met on arrival with Prosecco and a very warm welcome! The room was stunning and slept amazing ! And the breakfast was just fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble I can’t recommend this place enough

Superb team who always look after us incredibly well. Food was, as ever, great and plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner. A great wine list and the same nice friendly ambience.

The wi-fi is pretty hit and miss and the tv reception is fairly ropey, but we don't come to watch tv so not really a big issue for us, but if we bring the kids it wouldn't be so good!

This is my 5th stay , the hotel , staff, and location are brilliant as always , the secure parking is a bonus and the menu is varied and good

The breakfast menu tariffs are now a bit confusing, ie it used to be a fixed price now things are itemised The shower screen leaked causing the floor to flood

Confusing arrangements for pick up at railway station. Telephone not answered so had to walk!!!! Website not clear. Apparently this system does not operate since Covid. No excuse for information on wall of railway station to be still displayed. Send someone across with a Sharpie. Not our wall you say, well there are two Crowne PLaza QR codes stuck to this area.
