Great location, walkable everywhere that mattered; quiet during the night, nice view of the park. Front desk was no-nonsense and quick. Room was comfortable. Minibar had 2 capsules of coffee per person in the morning, which was enough, but barely. The bathroom/toilet was spacious. I liked the writing desk with the leather desktop, it was a nice touch. The bed was just firm enough, we slept well.

Toilet handle needed pulling up manually or it wouldn't stop flushing; would have appreciated a bit more toiletries space.

Our stay was fantastic, very friendly staff ,the room was great ,loads of space, the bed was super comfy. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was superb with a great variety and a few minutes walk from everywhere.

Pleasant check in experience and room was prepared and clean. Fairly close to the sea and able to walk to the foreshore. Stunning views over to the small isles.

Would not consider good value for money. Rooms expensive for the quality. Bar prices extortionate - £8 for a bottle of local beer, £9 for a G&T, £9.50 for a glass of extremely average wine. Meal in restaurant was ok but service very slow. Breakfast was plentiful but would question the quality of ingredients. Having just spent 4 weeks touring round parts of Europe this did not compare well.

The hotel was clean and tidy. My son and I had an evening meal in the bar area and the food was lovely. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable.

We stayed on a Saturday night, we were woken with noise outside as the local bars were emptying (however this is understandable). The breakfast was acceptable, with a varied choice, however the warm food (bacon, sausage, beans) etc could have been a little warmer.

The bedding and towels were clean, but that's where it ends.

The floors were filthy, the bedside table was sticky (god know what with) the car park was poorly lit and had a group of people doing god knows what huddled in the darkness. Very intimating as a single woman. This property is clearly being used as a refuge, which I have no issues with, however, it should clearly state this at the booking stage. It is known in the area as such.
