The hotel is in serious need of updating. Rooms are so tired and curtains smelled very old and dirty. Spiders all over outside of window. Depressing looking balcony, although view of sea was stunning. Hotel could be gorgeous if updated. Outdoor poor looked filthy and wouldn’t dare entering it. A couple were being very sexual by the poor, really off putting and later they sat on front step, drunk as skunks. Domestic fighting in room above ruined our sleep. Fridge in room froze our drinks that we bought with us. Room did not have drinking water and reception said we would be charged £2.50 per bottles with a £5 room service fee. The local area and beach were not pleasant either! Such a shame that a beautiful beach is destroyed by the calibre of visitors. Would NEVER go back! !!

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in , heating was on full, windows have a device that means they can't be opened properly, I've seen better decorated cells , I can't actually believe it's a hotel open for business, avoid at all costs , if it were free I wouldn't go, that said the staff especially the manager that refunded are parking , offered us breakfast and refunded us £6:60 of the room cost , yes £6:60 😫, were excellent, they don't deserve to have to work there , i can imagine complaints are a dailt occurance

Use of the dining room to bring in food, lots of cooking facilities and use of kitchen and appliances. Large TV. Relaxed place to stay and quite part of Margate but only 10-15 minute walk into the main area, or there are regular buses not just into Margate but many places in Kent too.

Couple of noisy guests the first night but that is no one's fault. They were gone the next day, otherwise all good

The location was good. Close to Train Station and Bus stops. Local shops was close too. Staff was very friendly. The room was very clean.

Water was running poorly because the shower head needs probably to be replaced. Heater was still on, even if its turned off.

The price especially as it's wrapped in scaffolding with work going on , it's just an unacceptable price , especially especially the sea view room are obscured but dirty windows and scaffolding, I appreciate it needs work ( long over due ) , but the price should reflect this, at least 30 a night to much , also the reception staff whilst lovely people are grossly incompetent, but as I say cheerie and polite all the same , the manger can be interpreted as rude , and he doesn't really seem concerned but issues raised , but that said it worth a visit , but only just
