Lovely room, looked freshly decorated, spotlessly clean with plenty of quality tea and coffee, water and fresh milk provided. Superb Host, beautiful garden and property. Breakfast was excellent, with locally sourced ingredients, plenty of choice including plenty of fresh fruit such as blueberries and watermelon, rasberries and strawberries. Early check-in can be available for a small fee and we took advantage of this.

Difficult to find anything to put here, so just some advice that the parking is limited to a first come first served basis.

Wonderful tranquil location with views over hills; wood burning stove with logs provided; beautifully appointed; we appreciated the extra touches such as cosy dressing gowns and milk in mini fridge , very warm welcome from our kind hosts; easy to charge our e bikes; nothing too much trouble

Limited space for eating in; three steps between living area and bedroom might present a challenge for less mobile visitors

It’s a beautiful hotel located in a quiet corner of Kensington Gardens. There is a bus stop nearby with connections to the more bustling parts of London.

The staff at the reception during our check-in was acting pricey and uncooperative. There were also gaps in communication with the hotel prior to our arrival.

Staff were very polite, friendly and informative. Breakfast was lovely and a large variety to choose from. Beds were so comfy, and the room was clean.

Myself and my friend stayed over Rectory Farm for one and I’m glad to say that I won’t be coming back and if you were looking for some place to stay in Cambridge , search elsewhere. When we got to the hotel , there was no human person to interact with meaning that everything is remote. This is not good as there were also no toiletries apart from a small bar of soap. Because there was no human stationed at the reception , we couldn’t inquire for toiletries and the closest shop to us was closed and 20 minutes away. Furthermore , there is a severe lack of tea and snacks in the room and the ones that were there made me violently sick . I suspect that it was outdated tea bags for which how much we paid for the night is unacceptable

The bedroom was acceptable. It had most of the basics.
Negative section of review
The toilets were disgusting, very smelly and the kitchen was not equiped at all.
