Very engaged , friendly and helpful staff, from the evening staff on reception and check in to the morning catering staff at breakfast. It's the first time I have stayed at a hotel based in a football stadium, and - although not a "normal " hotel in a lot of ways, it was a genuinely enjoyable experience, and - yes - If I need another stay over in Blackpool , I would be happy to stay here.

I think most people who have visited Blackpool in recent years would say it's not the place they remember from summer holidays with their family as children.. The streets surrounding the stadium are pretty run down and my partner was not a happy chappy when we ventured out to find a store / supermarket for snacks and wine ( we arrived fairly late at the venue and the catering had finished )

Wonderful two night stay in this very centrally located property. Everything went like a dream, great communication with the hosts. Property lovely and clean, comfortable with added extras to start the day. Would definitely stay again without a doubt.

Lack of hanging space, only a small problem plus lots of stairs up to the top floor so make sure you are agile enough to take them on.

Location. Staff, bed was comfortable. Shower nice and hot, toiletries. Good selection and price for breakfast. Room was clean , towels and bedding nice and white. Decent size TV. Bud lite from bar was a nice refreshing drink.

It was OK and the room was bigger than expected. Plentiful hot water and the wifi was fine. Staff were kind and willing - clearly short staffed.

Although it was Ok to park on the street and I understand that the parking on site is limited, I did ask a couple of times and never received a reply so we had to wait to go to find out. Breakfast a but lack lustre - instant coffee, hot water to make said coffee ran a bit short (the staff were very hard pressed - but remained cheery). The hollandaise suace was rather odd and personally I find it a bit odd to eat with a dog bowl on a level with my head!

Great location. Friendly staff. Good value. Tea and coffee facilities. Reception area has just been repainted.

The bathroom is tiny - barely room to stand. Shower very difficult to get working - needs replaced. Some dust in the room. Very noisy at night with the old windows - bring ear plugs.

Couldn’t check in until 4pm and then everybody checked in at this time with only one person on the desk - friends were able to get into their room when they arrived before 3 Room was tatty, dirty, net curtains filthy, window double glazing shot and not only could you not see through it the wind whistled through it. Bathroom tiny, couldn’t get in without breathing in. Very noisy room, felt like walls made for paper and because windows in the room needed replacing further noise from the street below. Would definitely not stay again at this hotel and furthermore will not be using Holiday Inns again, ever.
