The room was full of old charm and the roll top bath in the middle of the large bathroom was fantastic. We had dinner in the evening and it was superb. All local Kent ingredients, it is worth reading the book (in your room) about how the products are sourced. A lovely breakfast tray was delivered to the room in the morning, with freshly baked and local produce.

Only negative is that it is near the main road and so can be noisy, although traffic levels are quite low overnight. If you are sensitive to this then it may not be ideal, otherwise it is definitely worth staying, a real treat. And if you are only passing through then definitely take time to eat in the excellent restaurant.

Great accommodation, clean and well looked after. My team was very happy with their stay and had a very comfortable stay. The location for our guys to be able to reach their workplace in the mornings and evenings was spot on. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home from Stu and Neptunus crew members.

Lovely little cottage, plenty of room for us 4. The master room bed was lovely and comfy, it was lovely and cool inside despite very hot weather outside. Great little bathroom and kitchen.

No real issues, The bathroom door isn’t the best as it doesn’t close properly but the latch held it shut enough.

The mattress was very uncomfortable & the pillows were far too hard, with no alternatives. Our room was in the part of the hotel over the bridge & I would say they definitely need an update. We were facing the dual carriageway & it was noisy from the road.

Tableware. One mug/cup for tea or coffee, two odd wine glasses, cutlery minimal. Attention to these small details would give a better overall view of the property. Bed needs bolts tightening as creaks. Plug in kitchen which is part of the TV system needs highlighting as should not be turned off.

Malmaison isn't what it used to be. It didn't have the affordable luxury feel that it used to have. The "dinner" deal was not worth the price and was an extremely limited choice.
