Very close to the airport. Good if you’re flying from terminal 2. Longer walk (15-20 mins) if you're flying from terminal 1 or 3. But easy walk using sky line (covered). Good breakfast. Staff are friendly, they helped us with up to 1 hour free parking to allow us to drop our luggage in the room and then return the car to the car rental parking.

The room was very small and very basic. But the bathroom is relatively big for the size of the room.

My friend suddenly fainted and got sick, we called the receptionist, she was very nice, helped us to call the emergency number, described the symptoms (as we are not native English speakers) and has been assisting the ambulance crew to come in and perform the first aid, has been giving me comfort, gave me bread and coffee, very nice person!

The location is excellent, 5 minutes walk to Paddington. They upgraded my room after check-in, and very late at night; without any fuss; just a £40 upgrade at reception. The bed and duvet was comfy enough. There was 1 EU plug socket, and 1 USB socket; though 2 would be better. Reception was had staff nearby overnight.

The hotel receptionist was a bit new; she struggled when my preferred first name didn't exactly match my passport, as if I was going to be rejected, but it was only a minor delay after her colleague helped. The mini-fridge was not stocked. The iron had burnt material and severely messed up my shirt. The curtains were blackout but there was a lot of stray light around the edges. The breakfast coffee wasn't great.

The lady at the front desk is very nice, I forget what her name is, I think it's Deepicate, always smiling, and helped me take off the tags on my bag.

It is more of a building site than a hotel. My room was hard to find, down a mazy corridor in a different building and a long distance from reception (which was in the leisure centre). In the room, furnishings needed a serious upgrade. There was plenty of hot water but impossible to find a tap running cold. Doors didn’t fit well and those left open along the corridor revealed cupboards full of rubbish. Staff (who were very nice) insisted on referring to this crumbling edifice as a resort: I have never stayed anywhere less like a resort. I’ve since looked at the extremely mixed reviews and can only say that I find them suspicious.

There was no dusting done in bedroom with toilet that made allergies in one of our familys and we expect a barbecue set over there
