I have taken pictures of this room /lodge the maintenance very poor plug loose on walls, flooring was shabby stained parts of the floor mould in bathroom television loose fitting outside decking area falling apart I had problems with the booking i keep sending details of my ID by email to the email address they give me at lease 3/4 time and 3 time on messaged constantly phone while travelling to the accommodation I also found the person very rude I Nearly cancelled but we already had plans on meeting my cousin who had just buried he farther, i feel I was stressed because of my lost of a family member then with theses problems added a lot more stress.

I have been staying here on and off for nine years and there are various advantages including location (between Marylebone and Edgware Road stations), size (bedroom, living room, kitchenette, toilet) and the fact I can buy my food and make my own breakfast. I am not worried about getting up in time to meet a hotel breakfast schedule and eat things I don't like, nor am I have room service knocking every morning. At the right time it is usually competitive compared to the price of most hotels.

I was up 48 stairs so cursing every one as I dragged my bags up there (no lifts). The bathroom is tiny and the shower temperamental, never did get the right temperature going.

Basic, very limited: it comprised sliced white bread for toasting, squashy croissants or pain au chocolat - basic bagged supermarket quality; margarine and budget Tesco strawberry jam; bananas; various cereals and porridge; milk; toaster, kettle; tea bags and instant coffee.

The room - number 14 - was adequate. A kettle was provided. It wasn't that clean, and faced onto the A10 / Ely Road. I wake early anyway, so the start of the early morning traffic didn't bother me, but you have to be prepared for heavy trucks and cars from around 05.30. The room was fine - comfortable bed, and TV (Freeview), that occasionally suffered from dropout or pixelation, either because of the heavy storms in the area that week or rather large trucks passing! The shower worked fine - plenty of hot water - though the door didn't quite close (it was off one of its runners). The general environment of the property was a bit run down, dirty, and litter around .... a very large car park suffered from this, particuarly.

The hotel and staff were great, friendly and helpful. The price I paid for a last minute stay in the area with our dog was low and I didn’t think it would have been as good as it was, how wrong I was. The food was top notch and good selection of beers. Great stay.

Shower lacked any power. The monsoon shower head was more drizzle than monsoon and the other small shower head wasn't much better.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable and creaky. Only 4 mugs for hot drinks. Also asked to wash up all items on leaving which was fine but no washing up liquid was left. Cleaning spray and cloths had been left on shelves in bedroom on arrival.

The track up to the house isn't a finished road so may not be suitable for all vehicles, but the hosts were very clear to mention this in check in instructions so I knew about it.

Gas boiler in a cuboard in our room which even had a safety vent into our room with a carbon monoxide alarm over it tfe boiler clicked on and off all evening and from 4.45 am waking us up constantly Our room was damaged had a ineffective toilet screen all in all awful didn’t meet the description at all I meant tfe “wardrobe” was 3 hooks on a door 🤦♂️
