Our excellent experience started the moment we arrived, with a very warm welcome from the staff member on Reception. The room was a very good size and the bed, really comfortable. The meals were also excellent, the evening meal particularly so. For £14, I had three very large slices of topside of beef, with EIGHT different vegetables, all beautifully cooked. It seems the Head Chef is just 19 years of age but she will go far! Similarly, breakfast was also first class and set us up for the day!

Really nice staff. Hotel is located in a really good area, quiet neighborhood. Room was somewhat small but we only stayed for 3 days so it was great for what we needed. AC worked well.

The property description could be described as imaginative! We were led to believe that we'd have crockery, cutlery etc .We got 2 mugs, some wooden stirrers and paper plates in the room. The kitchen, which was supposed to be shared with just 1 other room, had been completely taken over by someone else. The fridge was full and we couldn't tell which cutlery etc. was for us to use and there was only one plate and one bowl we could find and we had to wash those first. Contact with the owners was no help. We left a cool pouch in the freezer which disappeared overnight. The arrival instructions said we'd get parking instructions within but there were none. The wifi access details provided didn't relate to any network in the building. The welcome folder said we had Netflix but the TV wasn't connected to the internet. Toiletries amounted to some body wash and the toilet roll was a giant size industrial reel which had to be kept on the floor. The lounge was supposed to be a setee in the shared kitchen. - from what we could tell from the photos. Instead there was the remains of a shower cubicle on the floor. The owners might like to consider a refund as a good-will gesture.
