The staff were some of the friendliest - ever The breakfast service was spot on: lovely staff, excellent food and nice friendly atmosphere. Just one slight niggle - and it is slight - the breakfast coffee could be much improved. Tbh it tasted like a cheap instant, despite being poured from a filter pot. We loved our room which overlooked the church at the rear. So lovely and peaceful- apart from the church bells ringing on our last night, every hour and on the hour. But it certainly hasn’t put us off staying again. Loved it!

Great location. 5 minutes walk from the bus and train stations. A good, peaceful and quiet base for visitors to London. Friendly atmosphere. Tasty breakfasts. Coffee and hot chocolate available for hotel guests :) For all visitors who have trouble finding the hotel - there are two entrances, one through the shopping center (after the entrance, go up the stairs and turn into the first alley on the left), and the other through the stairs outside the building (to the left of the entrance to the shopping center).

I arrived early before the cleaner had the opportunity to do his work & the previous occupant left the place in a right tip.....but it's clear the cleaner did his work to perfection because the place was spotless when I came back later, you would not have thought it was the same room

The hotel is very attractive but my stay was made by the staff. From the frontline reception staff to the bar and restaurant staff everyone was helpful and friendly. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade on my second night and that room was stupendous with loads of space and an amazing view.

This is not a reflection on the hotel but Booking.com lists this hotel as being 850m from the O2 which is where I was going. Geographically it is but you have to be able to walk on water to access the O2 that quickly. The journey was absolutely fine using the DLR and tube but I had booked it thinking it was walking distance so that was misleading. To reiterate that information did not come from the hotel itself but rather from the booking site.

Location was great just not to far from coral island arcade and there was good size TV in room the only thing disappointing was room wasn't cleaned very well and beds weren't that comfortable and the door was really stiff struggling to open and close

I was staying at the property for one night with a friend. We specifically chose this property as we thought we would feel safe, however this was not the case. A few hours into our stay there was knocking at our door to which we answered thinking it would be another resident or reception, however it was neither. It was a man asking for drugs, even after shutting the door and locking it he proceeded knocking for over 15 minutes. After this we called the emergency number that the property provided us with, which turned out to be a wrong number. At this point we were scared and anxious to even leave the room to talk to reception about the matter. We then called Pureserviced and explained what had happened and the team contact the property to enquire about this issue. After a few minutes we were informed that the man in question was in fact NOT a resident at the property and reception had let him in. I was absolutely appalled by this as I had counted on reception for my safety and never expected they would be reason I felt scared and unsafe. I was further informed that the man simply rang the reception bell, said he was a resident and without any hesitation reception let him into the building. Not only was he let in the building he was then let into the apartment i was staying in and was let to roam the building without a single question for some time. I explained on the phone how disappointed I was considering on my arrival I was asked for my ID and even a photo of my ID was taken, and to hear the same precautions were not taken for others entering made me question my safety.
