Wonderful location in the Cathedral Close in Salisbury. Building is the beautiful former Sarum theological college..well equipped. Excellent breakfast. Perfectly placed for walking over to the Cathedral for the early morning service, which is a memorable experience....you visit the wonderful 13th century Cathedral well before the tourists are allowed in, which is a remarkable experience in itself. Convenient parking is available.in the Building"s own grounds.

The hotel was beautiful, set in stunning surroundings overlooking the golf course. The spa facilities were a welcomes treat and we made full use of these. Breakfast was a self service buffet which worked really well and plenty of variety and choice on offer. The bedrooms were very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

It was situated exactly where we wanted to be for the Motor Show on the Western Lawns. Our room had been refurbished to a high standard and we had a lovely sea view. Slightly confusing, we still can’t work out whether they serve breakfast as it doesn’t say there is a restaurant in the hotel but it says bed-and-breakfast elsewhere.

There were a couple of negatives, we had out of date milk in the room (which is why my tea tasted off when we got there) but was changed very quickly at Reception. The shower temperature is hard to control and it takes a bit of effort to turn it off.

Location was good with us having a car. Lots of space, well stocked kitchen, laundry, etc. Well thought out for guest experience. Included hidden key lock box for those of us that might lock ourselves out!? Matt was very responsive and helpful. Entire experience was seamless.

The Old Hall Hotel is a pleasant if slightly faded hotel. Our room was comfortable and at the front of the hotel. There was a slight smell of fresh paint (not a problem as far as we were concerned). The buffet breakfast was OK.

Unfortunately on the morning of our first day we discovered the shower was not working. Reception said they would get this fixed but when we returned in the evening it was still not working. The manager said he would move us to the 5* Crescent which is part of the same chain for one night - oh, and we would have to check out of the Crescent at 11 the next day and wouldn't be able to check back into the Old Hall until 3pm. This would leave us without a room for the middle of the day. It later transpired that the shower remained unfixable so we ended up in the Crescent for the remainder of our stay. A good solution for us, except that the staff in the Crescent had stripped our room expecting us to move out. The staff were helpful and the 5* breakfast in the Crescent was wonderful but the uncertainty made our short stay more than a little chaotic.

Great location - just few steps from Cabot shopping mall, close to megabus stop. Good breakfast. Nice personnel.

Hotel rather for business. Room a bit smelly. Old, dirty carpet. A little bit too pricey.

To be the Hilton in Kensington, just sounds like a modern upper class hotel, the inside is far from it, it’s tired, weathered and ok if you want a throwback to the 70s, looks about that long since it had an upgrade. If it wasn’t one night, we would have walked out, come on Hilton, I thought you were the upper end of hotels, a premier inn would be better.

It was a lovely hotel with great facilities.

We were disturbed twice before checkout by housekeeping walking in to our room. It was awkward and uncomfortable. The tv Arial didn’t work and made the tv unwatchable.
