The property had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Although we were there for just one night, it was obvious that a much longer stay would have been accommodated very comfortably, with the fully equipped kitchen area. We had very good communication with the owner, who was very helpful.

The location was great, very close to Whitechapel and central London. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was bright, well designed with a lovely shower. Toiletries were really lovely as were the towels.

The room was on the ground floor and there was a lot of noise from the road and people walking past. There was also zero sound proofing internally, every time the toilet or shower was used above it sounded like a waterfall in the room. We had a large window which let in loads of natural light but there were some very large awful stains on the netting and wall which was really unpleasant. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, the hotel offers 24 hour bar and facilities in the lounge/restaurant area but this was really busy and the coffee machine did not appear to be working.

Very spacious, clean, well maintained and cared for flat. Comfortable beds and lovely sitting/social area. In a nice quiet location but very close to town centre (5-10 minute walk) and beach area. Parking space also available.

Beautiful scenery, really kind and welcoming hosts, lovely little get away for the weekend :) The garden to eat and drink was lovely, surrounded by hills and animals whilst having dinner was very peaceful.

We were upgraded to an executive room with a complimentary bottle of wine. Our room had the most amazing view from our window of Tower Bridge …. Fantastic both day and night

How the property is advertised is far from what it is in reality. We paid 300£/night for an hostel-like accommodation - Fair price should have been 80£/night. We documented with pictures which we are pulling together to make it more visible to all from skips outside rooms’ windows to mould and dirt in shower/toilets
