I can’t say enough good things about the Carriage! Immaculate, beautifully presented and really thoughtfully appointed. The hosts are brilliant - super responsive and have provide a very generous welcome basket. Even the in room information was exceptional with lists of local restaurants, places to visit and the history of the carriage all covered. The decorative items have been beautifully curated with the reclaimed railways mirror in the sitooterie and locomotive wallpaper in the bedroom showing the level of detail the hosts have gone to. This place deserves to be a massive success.

The breakfast was lukewarm due to the fact it had been sitting on the hot plate for 30mins as the manager didn’t turn up in time, half hour late. It was a cold rushed breakfast as we had to leave

poorly designed and crampy room. not sure who designed such prison style room for a hotel. giving bunk bed for family room is unimaginable. not for family or holiday.

Room very uncomfortable and crampy. bunk bed for family room. wash basin outside toilet, in the room, if one family member uses it in the night, disturbs sleep of everyone. no proper sitting arrangement in lounge area.

Young men drinking in the early evening on the patio swearing constantly and at volume.. The staff did warn them to keep it down.
