  We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful team member who got us settled in, made sure we could get a drink from the bar and checked our restaurant reservation was all ok. The hotel was beautifully kept, with a good choice of local drinks in the bar and locally sourced food in the restaurant. Our room was lovely and clean and comfortable. The hotel made clear that hot water would take a bit of time because of the age of the building so we were OK with that. Dinner and breakfast were great and the staff could not have been more welcoming. A lovely stay

  It was good - as noted the shower wasn't the greatest but if you stay in a very old building you accept those kind of things, especially when everything else was good.

  Very clean and spacious property in a good location. Many great facilities provided for use - it's the little things that really make a difference! Great communication with the host Julian.   The cottage is just beautiful and so well decorated. We were made very welcome with touches like some Scottish treats, guide book and even a milk in the fridge 😄 all facilities are kept to high standards and we had amazing time, thank you 🙏

  We thought the beds were particularly comfortable and very clean and we had a great night's sleep. We stayed at this hotel for an event at the International Centre, so the location was very convenient.

  We were very pleased with everything, but it might have been nice to have fried eggs on offer for breakfast. That's a personal choice as we love fried eggs, but we generally thought there was a lot to offer.

  We arrived Friday night at 19:30 and booked restaurant for Saturday evening the member of staff took the booking we asked for 19 00 but they were booked up so she put us at 18:45 told us about the entertainment as well when we went Saturday there was no booking I said we booked it last night ( the iPad kept playing up when we did book it with them)they were quite rude to us told us we made a mistake and had nothing till 20:00 made out we booked for the night we arrived felt very rude no apologies so we had to find somewhere else to eat would not book with them again

  The location was superb! Right around on the corner of the Winter Gardens.

  We found a piece of glass on the floor. The rest is not really an issue but observations that would make our stay even mofe pleassant. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the bathroom (there was one in the room). My girlfriend missed a hair dryer in the room. The presence of a hair dryer wasn't mentioned on booking.com so no real surprise but she expected one (I did the booking).
