Huge space in a gorgeous house. Fabulous instructions before arrival. Amazing entrance hall and stairs up to the apartment. Quirky decor in the apartment but so comfortable. Fabulous selection of continental breakfast items on a sideboard that also houses a fridge, microwave and toaster. Comfortable bed and sofa with lots of cushions and throws. Good size TV with lots of apps. So peaceful and restful, we slept so well. Serafina checked with us everyday to make sure we didn’t need anything topping up. We didn’t as the offerings were so generous to start with.

The bath was incredible but not enough hot water and it didn’t warm up within the two hours for hubby to then have a bath. An electric shower would make that perfect. Lots of locked doors in the apartment so found that a bit creepy. An overnight stay would have been full marks but 4 nights meant that the lack of washing up facilities and a shower started to grate slightly.

Location ideal. Warm welcome at reception - given an upgrade which was wonderful, room/s so spacious & comfortable. Use of spa facilities a bonus.

Well located, plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff in the bar and kitchen. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water in a large bathroom. All clean.

No information in the room about meal times in the restaurant, about WiFi, about check-out - it was rather odd to be honest. I went to eat at 7:30 and was told the chef has already finished. In fact the super young lady ran up the stairs and organised it so I could eat, so the staff saved the day. When I went to check-out (I had been told there was no breakfast and they didn't open until noon) I had no idea what to do with the key. Eventually I found a member of the kitchen staff doing some clearing up and he also didn't know but took the key - again a member of staff saved the day. The WiFi log-in in the bar did not extend to the rooms, from other reviews I now know there is a different WiFi but why not have an information sheet in the room?

The location was great, it was tidy and quiet at night. Underground is very close, supermarket is also very close. Overall we would gladly return. 😊

Booked dble room, got 2 single beds. Ceiling too low and husband 6ft 4ins and had to stoop over to use the toilet. No door on bathroom just a too long curtain. Up 2 flights steep stairs. So if you are tall or elderly room 4 is no good for you.
