Simple rooms but with dark tones, black out curtains, and a touch of 'luxe' design to stave off it being boring. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The hotel is right in the centre - literally can't get better. I had a 'non view' room at the back looking over an alley - not picturesque but as expected - but for the city centre it was very quiet indeed which was great. Some reviews suggested the standard room was on the small side but I didn't think so at all. Would definitely stay again.

Not much to quibble over really. My devices (including apple and android) couldn't connect to the open WiFi network in the room but could in the lobby, which means it's a coverage issue (could do with a WiFi booster). I mentioned it and was immediately offered a room change which was fantastic, though I didn't take them up on this offer. Also the stairs had labels on them saying not to be used unless in emergency and to use the lift to access the lobby: I feel like this should be an open option for use for those with issues with lifts/preferences.

It was cheap and sort of looked like the pictures. The location was super easy to get to the train.

No toilet paper provided, asked for it and didn’t receive any until I called them 6 hours later, I then had to find it myself in one of their storage cupboards. The shower didn’t drain and the main shower head didn’t spray any water out, only the handheld half way up the wall worked and barely. There are SO many stairs and super steep and narrow.

THe hotel was well located for our needs, bonus was parking for two cars. Breakfast was excellent

We booked two rooms, the double was clean but tired and needed decorating, the twin room (on a different floor, even though was requested rooms close together was not that clean and had black mould on the ceiling. When we returned from meal at just after 10pm the hotel bar was shut.

Man that (greeted!) took payment for breakfast, not friendly or welcoming unlike the young man that brought us to our table.
