Breakfast service was great. Assistance from Reception over stairs and need to change room was very good. We were assigned to a different room with no difficulty. We were surprised by the number and steepness of staircases (as one of use uses a stick to walk and has difficulty with stairs). We should have let the Hotel know this beforehand. The receptionist did also arrange for breakfast to be served to us in the lounge, so we didn't have to go down the stairs to the dining room. The lady who served the breakfast was also cheerful, friendly and helpful. Overall we were happy. Thank you.

Mattress on bed was floppy at the edges which made it tricky to get out of bed without falling out. One of the bedside lamps buzzed loudly enough to be disturbing and unusable. The stairs!

Our trip was fantastic, and started well with a complimentary upgrade to a suite with hot tub. The room was beautiful, and very quiet and secluded, with complimentary Molton Brown products. The hotel is lovely, very well appointed and decorated, and the food in both restaurant and bar was exceptional.

They could do with a Wi-Fi booster for the more distant rooms - it was a little flaky.

The location was excellent and the bar good with a nice garden to sit in. The breakfast was good. The staff were all good and the room very clean.

The place was just very tired. 10 years overdue a make-over. The rooms in the annexe were weird with a lounge, dining room and kitchen with a spiral staircase to lead to a bedroom with a double and a single bed and a bath with a shower. If I had taken my wife, she would have struggled with the bath and getting to the bedroom. As it was it worked for me. Just not a style of room I had ever stayed in before. Probably a design from the 1990's at best. The main building was dated and let down by how tired it all looked.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was good over the weekend when it was self service. The hotel manager was helpful. Security was brilliant.

Parking is limited, My friend left the hotel for few hours and found that the parking was gone. Gone to go and find parking few streets away, yet parking was paid for the 3 nights we were staying. had to pay Parking due to my car being parked at the next property.

Was a smell in the room and no towels. A smell humidifier had been left in the room on our arrival. A member of staff came and collected the humidifier and said we shouldn't have been given this room as it wasn't ready. We mentioned this all on checkout and was told that someone would be in touch with me. A day later and we have heard nothing
