The Nest is a really cozy little studio flat that's incredibly close to local transport links. It has pretty much everything you'd need, including washing and cooking facilities. It's a very clean and well-appointed place and I'd stay again if I was ever in the area. The key collection was simple, it has its own parking, and its very close to pretty much everywhere, including Edinburgh and Glasgow. There's also shops, takeaways, and petrol stations within a close proximity. The photos of The Nest are accurate. It was very clean and well-furnished. It actually exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed staying here.

Staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly, and check in was smooth. The hotel front door is very secure and I felt safe throughout my stay. My room was comfortable and had everything one might need for a short stay. The bed was soft and the bathroom was clean. There were plenty of plug sockets in the room and I was able to borrow an iron and ironing board when needed. The location was very convenient for my purposes, attending an event at the University's Pollock Hall; it's not very central, but still well connected.

The bed was a little too soft for my preference and the water pressure was a bit low in the shower. The curtains were a little short so let in quite a lot of light at sunrise.

The only thing I would say is an extra chair in room 14. We stayed 2 adults one child and whilst was great, there was only 1 chair for an adult to sit. Had to sit on the bunks but it is not comfortable:)
