  The location, the facilities and views were sensational. We were put in the lodge with the single beds which is not what we wanted but the hosts went above and beyond to sort this out and had excellent customer service.

  Friendly feel. Comfortable room - not amazing, but comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Nice setting.

  It was busy and very noisy at night - there was a wedding so I guess lots of party people. Also had to pay extra to get access to the balcony - and it was very warm.

  Very pleasant clean room. Easy free parking nearby. Friendly barmaid.

  The food was mediocre but fortunately not expensive. The serving staff at breakfast left a lot to be desired! One even served us wearing her coat and was obviously in a hurry for us to leave and then when we did leave could not be bothered to look up from her phone to talk to us. This spoilt an otherwise fairly pleasant stay.

  We were put into another one as ours we had booked had a leak . The one we went in had gas issues and boiler problems we had repairs out twice on the Saturday no hot water or heating from Friday to Sat evening half a day wasted waiting for gas people to come to fix boiler . No private beach as states on booking .com Totally stressful time couldn't shower or cook or have heating on

  It really needs updated. Breakfast was really low standard. Buffet was bare. Staff not that friendly. Weird layout. Food standard was poor. No aircon. Dated bathroom with no ability for air to get in and out so it smelled of damp. Wasnt able to get an ice bucket to my room
