I have visited the hotel previously and everything was exceptional. However this time they gave me a very dated room, poor quality and was very disappointed, as I had loved this hotel before. As a solo female traveller they put me in the furthest room possible from reception, of poor quality. However the hotel lounge is amazing, the food was good quality, especially breakfast. The staff are really welcoming. I will make a return visit as it’s a good location to visit Lincoln. Hopefully I will be allocated a beautiful room as per my first visit.

The property is very clean and the location is very convenient. Very close to Arthur's seat and there are also frequent buses to the city center. Alia is such a kind and helpful person, she was always available in case I needed anything. The neighbourhood is also very safe and nice, there's a mall nearby where you could buy groceries or have a coffee. I recommend this place.

Everything about the room was very good . The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.. I was very pleased that the windows could be opened for ventilation . So many hotels have no fresh air . It was ideal for an overnight stay.The staff were very welcoming, cheerful and helpful.

A brighter wall colour would make the room more cheerful. The dark colours make.first impressions feel a bit down especially on the narrow corridors . Access staircase is not easy . Steep, and darkened by the deep blue paintwork, I am 80 and have a heart problem but am relatively fit. Not really a suitable hotel for disabled people. Access from the rooms to the bar at the Star Inn ( a separate business) is via more old stairs. Again narrow but well lit.

Eirean and Steve absolutely lovely and very helpful. Accommodation had all necessary amenities required for our stay. Breakfast was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble.

The property was very well kitted out, very spacious and very clean! The information on the property was good once you had opened the numerous emails regarding it.

The carpet in the bedroom was like a weird plastic and hurt to walk on bear foot. We ran out of toilet paper by day 2 as it was only cheap stuff used. The bed and pillows was very soft and no chance of spares anywhere. Having to find out about the property on my phone. There should be a paper form within the property explaining the oven and the cooker for use. Upon booking it is not prominent that there is an extra £££ to be paid as a security deposit, yes the information is there but not in the description. This caught us off guard and left us out of pocket for our stay.
