The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The staff were excellent. Mairita and Mandy in particular were extremely helpful during checking in and using the leisure facilities. Location was fantastic. Quiet but about a 15-20min drive to central Birmingham which was handy

This might have just been seasonal but the pool was being used by a group of men (possibly locals) as a weekend social meet up. This meant that Saturday and Sunday mornings were absolutely packed in the pool between 9 and 12. I didn't mind this much but the group seemed very intolerant to other visitors in the pool which made it quite awkward. Other than that, the facilities were clean and the support at the desk was excellent

A hotel steeped in character and British historical charm, very coveniently placed in the centre of Guildford High Street, cleaning standards seemed good.

Staff seemed stressed on arrival and indifferent on departure. Shower is a joke as a trickle of water akin to 3rd world standards. Radiators noisy all night due to pumping cental heating regardless of valve being open or shut, but not as bad as the Armaggedon noises at 3.15am from deliveries to the supermarket below, I read this is a daily event. A very restless night and the inadequete shower did little to refresh a jaded body in the morning. Check out was easy, as nobody even asked how the stay had been. I am sure they were used to complaints and so avoided any feedback.

Great hostel. Very quiet, great kitchen facilities, well equipped. Showers were really good! Breakfast was perfect! We were doing a mini cycle tour

Clean, spacious and in a very central location though in a cul de sac away from the busy high street. It had everything we needed.

Because of its proximity to the service area of Waitrose it was sometimes a bit noisy early on, if you left the windows open.

The location was appropriate for our diligences around the US Embassy area. The view from the apartment it was really beatiful.
Negative section of review
The apartment is in poor condition and poorly cleaned. The fridge was unplugged so we couldn't use it during our one-day stay. The whole apartment smelled weird. There were handprints and stains on the glass and in the bathroom (Someone perhaps wanted to recreate the high voltage scene from Titanic movie in the room? and forgot to clean the glass afterwards). The sofa in the living room looked like it literally came from the rubbish dump.
