Beautifully equipped property in a very convenient location. Spacious and very comfortable.Perfect for our group of 5. Hosts were extremely responsive and communicated clearly and well. We had a problem with a smoke detector beeping in the middle of the night and it was fixed immediately. Very comfortable beds.

Upstairs towel rail heater was not working - a minor detail and downstairs shower ran hot and cold rather than maintaining a constant temperature. Parking space was extremely narrow and only suitable for a small car - our friends had a Toyota Yaris and there was just room to squeeze past to get to door.

There is not anything at all that could have improved our stay.Alex and Stacey are perfect hosts. The breakfasts are not to be missed all you needed and good choices. Heathcliffe is a jewel,spotless,comfortable,friendly easy to access and travel around from.

There is free WiFi but it didn’t extend to my room. There was also only a weak signal for mobile data in my room, so staying connected to the internet was difficult. No air conditioning but there is heating. Soundproofing of rooms could be better. Shower temperature was temperamental. Google Maps & Apple Maps won’t take you to the right spot, so I’d recommend instead searching for “Osprey Charging Station, Station Road, Rowsley, Matlock DE4 2EB“ which is in the Car Park for Grouse & Claret and the navigation will take you to the right spot.

Everything was perfect for us. When we visit Tenby again we wouldn’t look anywhere else to stay we would always check out the Park Hotel first.

Lock on the door was a bit flimsy but still secure, and front door secure at all times.

The position was reasonable and there was potential in the unit.

There was no internet, the television didn’t work, the washing machine didn’t work and leaked. There was rising damp in the ensuite and water came in through the ceiling fan. The kitchen was inadequately stocked and there were not enough towels, tea towels etc.

Plug didn’t pop up easy after use. No bin liners or sanitary bags. Wasn’t a city centre facing room that was requested, although this wasn’t guaranteed. Had to request beans at breakfast as none out (all gone from pot) didn’t have them in the end as there was a wait. Would have preferred walk in shower separate to bath.
