The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

  The location is great and the room was well presented. The hotel was very clean throughout and made for a pleasant stay. I dined in the restaurant as well and the service provided by Serena was exceptional. Despite being incredibly busy Serena was attentive to myself and other diners, taking time to talk through the menu with other diners. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Maldron to anyone visiting.

  Perfect location for us at the end of our Wales/GB trip. Calm, great look in the garden by having breakfast, squirrels jumping arround, perfect ideas what to see best and best references for having dinner from Krystyna. We hope to can come back again! And the possibility to prepare breakfast yourselves is absolutely great!

  Jan and Kevin are both so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The entire hotel is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Make sure you don’t miss out on breakfast as it’s a must!! I’m sure we will be back and have already been recommending to family and friends.

  Location is great. Staff friendly and talkative. Good shower and quite a quiet spot too.

  It's a little bit run down. That said, they were renovating some of the rooms while I was there. No help with bags on arrival or checkout. No fridge in the room or space to open cases. Cupboard doors had been removed and not replaced. Light in the bathroom didn't work.

  False advertisement: the property was like a prison cell, it was not the same as the picture at all, we got locked outside plenty times, and the staff were unserious. And the bed was tough.
