  We loved EVERYTHING as we always do. The genuine friendliness and 5 star professionalism of the staff. The attention to detail, including atmospheric candles and lit fire. The attentiveness to our needs in the lounge and other areas of the house. The delicious food and of course, deserts, in the restaurant. The surprise room upgrade was a very kind and appreciated gesture.

  The location cannot be beat, the staff so friendly and helpful, bed was very comfortable, very quiet, the size of the room was great, and Machu's of Mayfair was amazing. We were within a 5 minute walk to most of what we were there to see!

  For what you pay, the room was a bit worn, cracked tiles in bathroom, tub pretty old and worn looking, and not really sure what was happening with the carpet, at first we thought we had a huge leak, but it's just a couple of large areas that looked wet, but were not.

  PLEASE LOCK THE CELLAR DOOR !!!! No warning sign on the door one of our party nearly fell down the steps ...It really is a health and safety issue I would hate for anyone to fall down the cellar!! Shower in twin bedroom not working and toilet does not flush well No co2 alarm in lounge for log burner
