Lovely location. Room was really nice, big, clean, comfortable beds and perfect for us and the kids. We had the canal right outside our window, which was an amazing surprise, and the price was really good. The staff was lovely too and we had dinner delivered to the room, so we could get the kids sorted for bed. The room had a big TV with Netflix, so perfect!

There wasn't really anything we didn't like, but I have two suggestions to make the room better. Change the door over so it opens op towards the wall. You can't really keep the door open and walk by the bottom of bed. My other suggestion would be to change the kettle to a standard size. The current kettle was way to small for a family of 4 and it seemed to be leaking a little too. That said, it's nothing that would stop us from returning. We had a lovely stay.

Views from living room superb. Flat was bright and comfortable and virtually everything about our stay was perfect.

Only one downside was because there was very limited hot water for four people. Water heated up okay but became tepid after just a few minutes even for just one person in the shower. Boiler seemed a reasonable size but may have been set up to limit use by multiple occupents. Bathroom had a large bath and shower but sufficient hot water for a bath was a non starter.

Our room was very noisy throughout the night - even with windows closed and curtains drawn, very loud music from outside. Perhaps heavier drapes could be installed to keep the noise out. Only applied to room on one side of the corridor.

Upon arrival and ‘after’ paying for the room, we were told by the receptionist that the room was located above the nightclub and we ‘may’ experience some noise later into the night. After a nice evening out we returned to the room to be greeted an incessant thumping racket that lasted until at least 2am, which was impossible to sleep through. I realise that when a hotel has a nightclub some of the hotel rooms may be affected by the noise but surely this should have been made aware to us upon booking the room, certainly not after paying for it. I also wouldn’t have expected the room to be charged at nearly £140.00 when it clearly isn’t fit for purpose.
