The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was just a 5-minute walk to the metro station. The main bed in the room was comfortable. Assuming the windows were closed, it was quiet in the room. The room was clean.

The hotel is booking a room for two people for a family of four. The sofa bed they are proposing is so narrow that even two children cannot sleep on it. The springs from the mattress dig into the body. Breakfast is an absolute failure—during the week, you have to wait in a queue for 10 minutes to get to the self-serve area. If you don't have a hand to put the entire breakfast on one go, the hotel employee will shout at you and make you stand in the queue for another 10 minutes. For breakfast, only fatty bacon is served, along with inedible scrambled eggs, and the rest is sweet.

A lovely warm welcome in the Pub side and efficiently shown to our lodgings. And the beer: superb!! Perfect location, a short walk from everything it met our needs perfectly.

That I would like to have stayed longer and enjoyed the lovely lounge they have. The single bed mattress though was a little worn but I admit I didn't have the heart to say so as everything else was just so darn good!

The room was very dark as at the back of the building with a huge tree outside and inferior lighting . Tree blocked all the light & couldn’t open window as we didn’t want the insects coming in . It should be screens to prevent this . Due to no light anywhere near the mirror in the bedroom it was impossible to style hair or apply makeup- needs a light in that area. No fan in bathroom so couldn’t do makeup there either. Mixed messages about 3 course evening meal being offered at £25 but menu only available after 5pm . At 6pm no menu at reception so directed to restaurant. No - one knew about this . Turned out to be carvery only at £30.
