Eveything you needed was provided free of cost - beach towels, beach mat, beach bag, drinking water, sandals etc. Breakfast was as great, fresh eggs made as you like and lots of sweet and savoury options and barista style coffee! The pool for the rooms and the main pool were kept clean and bug free. The evening restaurant food was lovely with a range of options, the Thai food was delicious but there were also more western options. The staff were fantastic - specifically a gentleman name William (a member of the bar staff) was exceptionally friendly and made our stay. Free shuttle bus that took you into the centre or to the market was really appreciated. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!”

  Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, the lady in reception and a lady that worked in the restaurant area I think she was called Arlene, they where both particularly accommodating. Also a full vegan menu which is great to see! Tried a few things on it the first night of our stay and it was lovely!

  The room was incredibly warm at all times of the day and even worse at night, the windows don't open much (like most hotels) so we had a fan on constantly but it didn't seem to do much. Also there was some really noisey hotel guests at night.. again not the hotels fault.

  Nice welcome, hall nicely decorated, the was new carpet fitted in the bedroom and landing, new shower control unit just fitted. Shame didn't stay for breakfast as it is supposed to be the best feature. Loads of potential just lacking in capital to finish to a better standard.

  although it had a new shower unit , the shower does need a re silicone, towel rail/heater needed a good clean and a dust and not too sure how long the bathroom floor had been laid but wasn't very good and didn't want to walk barefoot on it . Now the bed!!! Where to start! Well the sheets were clean at least but the mattress and divan base were just awful and a good nights sleep was not had by either of us . I've now been told that I must Never book a guesthouse on my own EVER Again . On a plus point traffic noise fairly quite, we know because we kept waking due to a spring or 6 digging into our sides.

  Location suited us so it was okay for a quick stopover. Access wasn't an issue. Check-in instructions were clear and simple.

  Think the cleaner opted to blitz the flat with Febreze rather than actually clean, or even change the bedsheets/bath mat. Could be a nice little flat if it wasn't for cheap fixtures and shortcuts in housekeeping. Sounds from hallway and neighbours coming in/out are heard loud n clear throughout the night. Roller blinds are huge - so it's a compromise from either being fully exposed or having no sunlight at all. If a peaceful night's sleep in a comfortable pad is important then I would probably look elsewhere within the area.

  Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. The first room we were given was not suitable, this was quicky rectified.

  The pool was always full. You have to book a 30 minute time slot in advance to guarantee you can use the pool but some people overstayed their allocated time and this wasn't monitored.

  Location is reasonable, the airport is a 45 minute walk or is accessible by local bus or taxi.

  The room was dirty, the TV did not work, the window was broken and would not open. The bathroom had a seriously unpleasant smell, probably from the drains. The price is reasonable so if you just need a bed for a night and don't mind slumming it a little then this is fine.
