We stayed one night at John and Magda's guest house and the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We were served a fantastic breakfast, the room was newly renovated and the location of the property was great! no problems parking as there is both parking in the yard and also on the street. You will find the center of Inverness 10 minutes' walk from the door. Really recommend the accommodation here.

What a little gem Spring Cottage is, gorgeous location with a superb host. The rooms are incredibly comfortable with all the facilities you need. My favourite part is the little shared snug filled with comfy chairs and gorgeous plants - perfect for doing a few emails at the end of the day. Breakfast was super and all home made.

Easy check-in, just use the code. No keys no struggling. Clean and fresh room with bathroom. Also available fresh towels, soaps and shampoo. The common areas are well equipped. The whole interior is renovated and fresh. Quiet and English feeling neighbourhood with 15 minut to Underground. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and close to the city. For any family or friends wanting a simple place to stay during their time in edinburgh this was the perfect place. An issue we had was dealt quickly by the staff and they were very responsive to any requests. Definitely will be returning.

The location and the room was big! The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and warm. The price is great as it includes breakfast and you do get free parking which is a bonus!

It is really dated and dated furniture should be replaced as well as holes. This can make the place look grubby and unkempt. The carpet really needs to be replaced, it has huge strains on it .

Restaurant is not open in the early part of the week. No black out curtains in the bedroom I can't understand how it is rated 4*. It has no leisure facilities. It is more like a 2*

I had requested for a luggage drop off as I was arriving with an early flight only to get to the property and advised that it was not available.I was stuck outside in the rain as I couldn’t move around until checkin hours. Lack of a boiling kettle even to get some hot drinking water given the property is far from any cafe was a disappointment for me. I also didn’t like the idea of paying a hold deposit which I only learnt after I had paid for the stay. I have booked many properties in different countries without this condition.
