  From the moment we arrived all of the staff were extremely attentive and very helpful. Everyone we met gave the outward appearance of being happy in their work and that nothing was too much. The breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked and again it was easy to ask for what you wanted. Our room was large and the bathroom was spotless and kept that way during the week. We had dinner in the hotel once during the week (eating out within the town the rest of the week) and the food was really lovely and there was a convivial atmosphere within the dining room. All in all an excellent place to stay.

  The only thing that was slightly wrong was the window catch in our bedroom which was rusted and wobbly and this made opening and shutting the window difficult.

  Fantastic location, immersed in a park with centuries-old plants, a real mansion from times gone by. Excellent room. Genuine and home made breakfast. Internal free parking. Ian has been a truly wonderful host, a great hospitality and full of advice to improve our experience in Scotland. This location is worth a trip...

  We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, in a lovely location and everything was provided including tea, coffee, milk and a lovely cake! Seoneagh was quick to answer any questions. Great for our dogs.

  The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Thought I'd be in pain from all the dancing I did but hardly any pain the next morning which I put down to the bed being so good.

  Breakfast was too busy and not well set out so everyone was always in everyone else's way. The bath was really small too.
