Close to bars and restaurants, views from upstairs lounge and balcony fantastic. Lots of books, games and DVDs if the weather was bad. Kitchen had everything you needed and more

First they didn’t give me the room which they advertise. Also their lift were broker down so they put ne in a wrong room which has no cutleries, no kettle for tea, no tv working, stains on the walls which i took pics too to show them and noisy surrounding. After telling the management more then 10 times they moved me to another room which didn’t have the tv working too.

It was such a terrible experience. The host knew the time that I will be coming and did not provide let me with any information how to get into property. I waited for 15minutes outside to receive the lockbox code. I had a meeting scheduled and because of this hassle I was late for it. When I entered the premises I was greeted by the strong smell of cannabis smoke that was piercing through ground and first floor. My room smelled of cigarette smoke and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. The bedside table and TV table were dusty and dirty. The window blinds were dirty, the bathroom was filthy!!! Toilet and shower chrome were not cleaned at all . The worst thing was that the pillows smelled of the smoke. It was so disgusting and strong smell that I wasn’t able to sleep, even with the open window the smell was unbearable. I let the host know about all the issues but received no response apart from that he asked me to remove the bag covering the smoke detector. The drawers were broken.The pressure in the shower was ridiculous! It was impossible to close the toilet doors as the toilet itself is too close and there is no space for the legs. The bins in the room was dirty and has cigarette buds at the bottom. Overall this was a terrible stay.

Room had no ventilation. The only window which opened was unsafe and could not be opened more than an inch. Even When it was closed the noise from the veranda was horrendous. The door between the bar and stairs below our room constantly banged keeping us awake until very late. People on veranda where very loud and foul mouthed. Tried to talk to a manger after first night but they wouldn’t come out from office to discuss and left the poor receptionist to advise they would email me. The second night was even worse. No space in car park, two functions on. One of which had mega loud music until 0100 (you could clearly hear the booming and the dj) banging door constantly from bar. Not a place I would recommend if you would like sleep or to talk to a manager. Four days since stay and messaged every day and have still not heard from a manager. Please note this is a minimal run down of our horrendous stay
