BCB for me was a balanced experience. They have amazing, friendly stuff, perfect flexible check-it, glorious, suitable for work wi-fi, spacious lobby and good tea.

Random folks in the dorm are always a gamble, My 'gacha pull' was three snoring dudes, one who wanted to sleep on the floor right next to my bed and one who talks in his sleep. Simply not the best kind of luck and has nothing to do with BCB. I would prefer to have personal light near my bed, but I was okay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The location so near Kensington gardens was great. There was a bathtub in the bathroom.

There was no air conditioning in the rooms. The information given on the site should specifically state that there is none. Some rooms were just too tiny for us and our luggage. There are 6-10 steps before reaching the lift or reception.

Booked a double room and was allocated a 'cosy' double which was in attic Getting out of one side of bed meant sloping roof and beam, which unless you crouched down, would bang your head !

Not a bad thing, but I wish there was a notice about the direction of the shower. If you turn the shower towards the exit, it will leak through the glass wall. Maybe I'm being too sensitive.

I feel that this hotel was overpriced for what it was The staff didn’t look happy and I think this translated in to the service they gave. The hotel felt like it was very busy and churned people through, which isn’t what I like. With bag holding pre and post check in/out. There appeared to be confusion with which bags were mine and I was asked to describe my bags. When checking out I was asked to come and get my bags (3 in total). This was not secure but I also had to ask the member of staff to help me. I waited for 5 mins to receive my bags and feel frustrated as two other people who had turned up after me got served immediately, which caused me to have to intervene

Walls are paper thin . Could hear everything. Dogs barking in rooms, people arguing and the man in the room next to me having his TV on full volume till 1.30am the. Taking a call at 6.30am and I could hear every single word . Beakfast was poor - egg dried out and beans very sweet .
