The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Zelie, the host, gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The style of accommodation is a beautiful blend of old & new decor. A modern bathroom and kitchenette were well stocked with toiletries and quality teas & coffee pods. Bed was fantastically comfy and having a sofa and extra comfy chairs was an added bonus. When next visiting the Cotswolds, this will be our first choice of accommodation.

You get what you pay for and the breakfast is not expensive and was lovely. The location was good.

The room needed a good touch up which should be realistic. The bathrooms could have done with a good touch up just to make them more presentable. This is all feasible for the money that is being charged.

1. Size of the room 0/5 this was not a double room. The bed was against the wall. As soon as you open the door you are on your bed! Like a teenager's bedroom. We had to ask and wait 30 min to have our room changed to an adult-size room. Which wasn't good but at least the bed wasn't against the wall. So my partner and I could have a decent night in that room. There are 2 hangers and nowhere to put your clothes!! In a room with no floor space. How do you do that? 2. Check-in: They charge you for an early check-in or you pay to leave your luggage!! £3 per item!!!! Mind you I spent over 1k on 6 rooms for the weekend! But yet they need that extra £3 per item to make an income for the day!!! Never Have I ever paid to leave my luggage at reception when staying at a hotel. The fact that the rooms are ready but they still charge to have access before 3 pm is shocking!! 3. The size of the lifts!! No, they can't do anything about it but be warned. U can only fit 2 big cases and yourself. They will wait and wait and wait because in 2 people per trip and they have 7 floors lol. 4. Price: £169 per night although I booked 2 months in advance. No coffee tea or kettle boiler!! They are making guests buy coffee from their restaurant downstairs!! Not worth that price at all!! Overall terrible experience.

Comfortable room. Good food in the evening.

Road noise. Could do with double glazing. Breakfast a bit weird. Full English or continental but no fruit juice offered with either and no second cup of coffee.

Near a shopping centre and transport

Fire alarm went off on the night before the marathon at 3am and continuously went on and off for an hour plus. The staff did not apologise. Overall, the staff were not welcome and at times rude. The price hike for the marathon warranted a better service.

Staff were friendly and helpful

No air con made it a very hot and stifling sleep experience even tho very comfy beds. A bad lingering smell all over the hotel probably due to poor ventilation as no windows that could be opened
