Really friendly and accommodating hosts who were looking out for me when I arrived. They opened the 5 bar gate allowing me to park directly in front of the lodge. They have a really friendly cat that seemed keen to show me around. The location was superb with the lodge standing on a generous plot right olongside a beautiful trout stream. It was fascinating sting to watch the trout rising to take flies from the surface. The situation was perfect for a quiet relaxing break, with a pub a short walk along the road. There is plenty of room for a family in the lodge, with all the basic items that you require for a self catering break. I am keen to return there as soon as I can!

The young gentleman named vikram made our stay very comfortable. He went over and beyond to help us with a technical problem we had with our TV. Not only did he help us but he placed us in a new room when the problem was not resolved. He was very polite and professional. Anyone who stays at the hotel ask for vikram he will deal with you in the best possible manner. We’ll definitely stay again because of him.

Being honest if you follow the mantra ‘you get what you pay for’ then this place is ok! I was in need of a place to stay in Manchester on a budget and this fit the bill quite nicely. A 15 mins walk to Old Trafford and right next to the Railway Club. A nice cheap place to stay when going for a Matchday. Staff were very chatty and good to answer any query.

My only real complaint really was the room was a little too warm considering the radiator wasn’t on and the window was open

Helpful friendly staff but would be useful to know it is not on site staff. Only five minutes from Silvertown Station.. Very well equipped, very big apartment giving lots of room. Big balcony. Comfortable beds and great storage Some useful Beverage and food items Bottled water great idea. Great area for Excel centre and walks around Docks

Building is not actually custom house but East Quay. Near Trinity light ship Need information on key fob for entry and exit Gas hob only worked on one ring Curtains dont slide Balcony needs tidying and mop and buckets removed and maybe nice table and chairs

The parking area is a very inconvenient location and will be cumbersome for elderly or people who can not walk or climb stairs (25 stairs to reach the parking level - with no lift).
