Positive section of review
It was a lovely clean, well furnished apartment and well supplied with items needed. It was close to town centre and had plenty of shops nearby. Excellent bus service on doorstep. Staff were really kind, helpful and friendly.

I would of preferred to have a washing up bowl instead of a dish washer, as we only had a few pots now and then and that would of made it easier. I would of liked a brush and shovel to clean bits of mess up as vacuum was out if charge and I couldn't figure out how to charge it. The light bulbs are too dim in the bedroom so no reading in bed. It was supposed to have a sofa bed but had a large corner sofa for one to sleep on, it was not that comfortable. Instructions on how to use hob and oven would if been useful.

The only good thing (rather the best thing) about the stay was the location. Bang on, at the high street and very well placed to the Castle and other notable touristy places (and railway station)

1. The bed was super annoying, the plastic covers were kept on the mattress, and then wrapped up by a bed sheet. Every time you make a simple movement, it was so damn noisy. 2. Wi-fi availability was near zero. 3. Kitchen area was horribly dirty, I couldn't sit and have a peaceful meal (and neither was i allowed to eat in the room). 4. Lastly, although the reception area said no alcohol consumption etc, I could see locals (or the regulars) around... and very very loud and noisy (and my best guess, enjoying beers).

The hotel is an old coaching Inn, and as such is characterful, The room was very large, and the bathroom and shower was was well appointed. Food was good with breakfast being very nice

Parking was extra and very expensive so be warned - it isn't as cheap as you think it will be! This was the reason for the low rating. Otherwise the hotel was good.
