When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

We used Pleasant Hills for 21 of us family to celebrate my 70th birthday. The location was chosen to enable us to explore Glasgow and Loch Lomond - younger family members were keen to use their paddleboards and we also wanted to take in the Riverside Transport museum. Being able to order Tescos food ahead and then found it all unpacked for us, plus finding Frances' Brownies on the worktop to welcome us in. The whole family loved the Hot tub on site!!

Although advertised as sleeping 24, we found 21 comfortable, - we split to 'a grandparents room, an aged Aunty room, a teenagers room, three rooms where youngers shared with their parents.

Can't think of anything really, maybe a new hall and stair carpet as looks a bit tired compared to everywhere else maybe its already in the future plans otherwise fabulous 👌

Amazing staff, so polite and friendly, room contained everything you may need, excellent location, and an amazing breakfast, so much choice, inside is full of history, outside of the building could be spruced up a little, definitely will return

Though not the hotels fault, it's a trifle, noisy, till around 2 am, with a couple of night clubs, and cardiff's finest, not so good singers, that's the only thing really

Very welcoming and friendly staff with good quality rooms and furnishings - the bathroom was particularly nice. Excellent food, even a quick pizza on the first night was delicious. Good location for south Lakes, just off the M6

It comes down to personal choice, but even I thought the bed was too soft.

The location and the relaxed atmosphere, although even though we asked for a quiet room, there is always someone who thinks that leaving the door to slam as they walk in and out is the norm. Breakfast was very good.

The air con was not working - we brought a fan with us and they supplied another, it was very uncomfortable, even though we had windows open and fans going full belt all night.

Stunning location, excellent hosts. Very well equipped, classy decor. A real gem of a cottage, not cheap but still good value in that you get what you pay for.
