The location was superb and they made the best use of the space available. The breakfast was nice and refreshing to have healthier options. Staff were lovely and helpful. It was very clean as well, and the little kettle and biscuits in the room were much appreciated.

As others have said (incl the man who woke me at 5:38am shouting at the receptionist!), the room was very hot on arrival and there was no air con or window I could open. I drew the curtains and this reduced the heat; later on, I left the bathroom door open as the vent seemed to be working to remove some of the heat. I get cold quite easily so it didn’t bother me as much at night, but if you’re warm-blooded, not the best place for you. The space was incredibly small but for the price and a place to sleep with a safe roof over my head not far from my workplace, it was perfect.

Fabulous cottage, very comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and the welcome pack they left us was amazing. Cottage had everything we needed and the area was lovely with lots to see. Would definitely return and recommend.

Needs a large frying pan. Plumbing and showers very poor. Would have appeared far more attractive with the grass cut. Septic tank appeared to be overflowing in the back garden.
