Fantastic value for money. We went for this place as the cheapest option available but you really can't beat it. On arrival, I started to wonder whether I'd misread the positioning of the decimal point in the bill! Free, ample parking.Clean, well-maintained rooms and communal areas. Great size bed in executive suite which meant twin beds not required. Clean, modern bathroom. Nice small lounge and bar area to use if outside not an option. Grounds were beautiful to relax in of an evening, views across county with the chalk white horse visible in the distance. We loved watching the rabbits darting about in the next field! Fantastic owl hooting in the night, to add to the rural experience! Very quiet location, easy to find. Walkable into Bradford on Avon although a steep hill on the return! Great breakfast available to set you up for the day. If it weren't so far away from where I am in Wirral, I'd definitely come back to stay again.

It would have been nice to have veggie sausage options for the breakfast, although eggs beans, mushrooms and hash browns were available, as well as cereals and toast (and bacon and sausages). And soya milk - this may have been available but we didn't ask, plant-based yoghurts were so this was appreciated. Nothing not to like at this hotel, just my brother would have preferred veggie sausages!

Absolutely everything! From the very beginning we were welcomed and the cottage was absolutely beautiful! Set out in the countryside we were able to experience sunny days, fresh air and were even treated to the Northern Lights on our first night there! We loved the tree swing out the front and wanted for absolutely nothing! We had every single amenity we needed plus even more. Our hosts went above and beyond, gave us a tour of the property explaining everything even leaving us some fresh eggs, milk and breakfast bits :) Our group slept so well and I still dream about that amazing cooker :) What an absolutely beautiful property!

Location was great, the room was very clean and the fact that they can store your bags for a few days was perfect. The staff were very very nice and helpful too.

The sofa bed in the family room wasn't too comfortable but manageable for the 1 night we were staying. Also the fact that the room had two small windows very high up on the wall, no views, it was fine for a short break but would have been annoying if we were staying longer.

On arrival, the restaurant floor was was being sanded and varnished. The noise was appalling - this continued until around 18.30. There was nowhere to comfortably eat food as the only available space was in the bar. There did not appear to have been any forward planning by the management. The room design was bad, with clear windows in the wall separating the brightly lit bathroom and the sleeping area, if using the bathroom at night, the other person is disturbed by bright lighting. Chromecast was advertised and recommended by staff at reception, only for a warning on the TV telling guests not to use it as it interferes with some hotel systems - demonstrating a lack of communication from management. The location is only suitable for airport users, nowhere else within walking distance to get food.
