Good location just 5 mins outside Inverness. Nice to have a view and be able to walk to a local Cafe and pub. Impeccable furnishings made this a cosy little bolthole from the freezing summer weather. Sometimes it's the little things that might make you choose one property over another. I loved that this had 2 full bathrooms, the upstairs one had great lighting for make-up ladies! 2, parking just 5 meters away 3. Separate and working Clothes Drier 4. Set of Sharp kitchen knives.( for self catering) 5. Comfy bed 6. Good water pressure.in showers.

The hotel arranged for a ground floor room as we requested - my husband struggles climbing stairs. The room was good, lovely new shower room but on the ground floor at the front of the hotel meant it was a bit noisy for us. We are staying again next week on our way home so have asked for a different room next time

Steps leading up to the front door a bit difficult if also pulling luggage. There is a lift but only to some of the rooms. Otherwise, it is in an ideal location.

The hotel is in the middle of the tourist area. Very clean, with very nice and polite staff. If you need a hairdryer or iron, you can ask the receptionist for it. I didn't need them, but I read in the room that you can use it free of charge.

The room was small without a cupboard or wardrobe. No kettle in the room, but you can ask for hot water at the reception. However, I wasn't expecting much as I had a low budget.

Once you’re off the first floor it’s all a little bit run down. The pool is dark and dingy with lots of areas in need of a touch up. Nowhere in our family bathroom to stand toiletries and five hangers for four of us!?
