Excellent location and a warm and welcoming feel to the house. It was very well equipped indeed with everything we needed - the layout downstairs was great with a large open plan kitchen/diner with access to a comfortable outside space with plenty of seating. There were extra nice touches too such as umbrellas, beach towels, comfy throws etc. Our hosts responded to any questions we had very quickly and were very helpful and accommodating. we had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

The location and facilities in this hotel is fabulous; we had a booking at the Globe theatre which was a lovely walk away. However, what made this stay special were the staff and the different areas to relax or chat in; from the roof top terrace, the spa and the central bar area, you just wanted to make time for being in the hotel!

We would describe the Hotel as an upmarket Travel Lodge with more facilities. Very popular with coach parties it would appear. Food was OK and service was quick. Location was convenient.

Parking was quite difficult as the Hotel has only the parking space within a courtyard which was quite large but had to accommodate a lot of cars.

Available on short notice (Flight cancellation on a Friday night). Easy to get to the Airport via Bus no Taxi or Driving services needed and costs only 2 pounds.

Room was unfinished, run down. Mold in the bathroom, shower of other guests was rancid and dirty, they refused to take a shower there, loose toilet seat, missing tiles, poor handiwork. Poor and unfinished painted walls. No sound isolation at all, there was a person up and walking around, cussing and shouting until 2 AM. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Owner drives you from/to Airport but only for Cash, 60 pounds each drive, wants Cash beforehand and you have to chase him for a receipt.

Total false advertising of the property. It said it had: 1. Tea/coffee machine and also electric jug. there was no tea coffee machine just a electric jug. 2. it said there was a desk and a kitchen table, separate items. there was neither, I assume the shelf in the corner with 2 stools under it was considered both the desk and the kitchen table. it basically had two sides accessible that others were the walls so hardly could be considered desk or kitchen table 3. it said it had a sofa. there was no sofa, there was a single seat chair. 4. it said it has a sofa bed. there was no sofa bed, the chair had a foot rest which could come up to double the size. there is no way an adult could sleep on it which the details said it could sleep 3 adults 5. it said there was a terrace, the access to it was locked with a sign saying terrace under maintenance. 6. it said it had seating area, there was no seating area other than where the chair was. so under their definition any space with a chair is a seating area. The place was dirty, oven clearly hadnt been cleaned. carpet on steps to terrace filthy with bad stains on it. The check in procedure was bad, and had the feeling it was a scam as had link to pay deposit which was had no association to booking.com or the property. Had to send passport twice, and had to physically pay the deposit which was over twice the room rate. Took a week to get this refunded. Most places take a credit card number as security, not having to physically pay them and wait for a refund. Would never consider this place again and is a bad reflection of booking.com.
